Close to 25 minutes of the video footage including a song has been 'deleted' from All in All Azhagu Raja which released in theatres all over the State and elsewhere on Saturday (02nd November) on the eve of Deepavali. Directed by M. Rajesh, who has had a hat-trick of super-hits prior to this film, the film stars Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles along with comedian Santhanam.

Even before the film released in theatres, it was caught in controversy as accusations were levelled at Rajesh and Santhanam for being insensitive and ridiculing the Government's campaign against the use of cigarette/tobacco. Despite putting up a brave face that the sequence in question wasn't intended at ridiculing the Govt.'s campaign, Rajesh had deleted the sequence from the film before it released in theatres.

Those who watched the film felt that the film was a 'bit too long' and therefore appeared 'boring' at places. Rajesh has now deleted 25 minutes of the film's final version including a song and has trimmed the film's length now to 2 hours and 29 minutes instead of the earlier length of 2 hours and 54 minutes.

The film is now screened in theatres with the new 'trimmed' look and in a digitized manner hoping badly to attract audiences who haven't shown much interest in it so far.
