That Karan Johar will be release the Hindi version of Rajamouli's Telugu film "Baahubali - The Beginning" is apparent. The latest we hear is that Rana Daggubati is the one who brought the two titans together. Apparently, Rana, who features in the magnum opus, introduced southern director Rajamouli to Johar and paved way for a professional bond.

“Rana knows both S.S. Rajamouli and Johar. During a conversation about the film, Rana had introduced Johar and Rajamouli to each other. That is where the journey of the collaboration sprinted.

Rajamouli recently announced a two-film collaboration with Johar. Johar will be presenting both the upcoming films of Rajamouli. The film, which is said to be the story of two brothers for a kingdom, will hit the screens on July 10.
