The much-awaited audio of director Shankar's home production Veyyil will be released in Chennai at a gala function to be held on Tuesday. Vikram and Madhavan will take part in the function that would be attended by the cast and crew of the movie.

Veyyil, the fourth film from Shankar's home production after Mudhalvan, Kadhal and Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, features Bharath, Pasupathy, Bhavana and Shreya Reddy in the lead roles.

The movie has music by V Prakash, nephew of music wizard A R Rahman and lyrics by Na Muthukumar.

Prakash who had sung few songs including Kadhal Yanai in Anniyan makes his debut as music-composer with Veyyil.

Vasantha Balan, a one-time associate of director, directs the movie.
