Contrary to media reports, Priyamani is not going to be the heroine of Priyadarshan’s forthcoming venture ‘The Bullet Train’. Instead, she has been replaced by Kangna Ranaut, the ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ girl, claim sources in the know.

It is said that producer of the film Ratan Jain of ‘De Dana Dan’ fame was specific about a well-known Bollywood actress playing the role as a result of which Kangna Ranaut has become the final choice.

However, circles close to Priyamani reportedly maintained that the actress had never been approached for the role. It is to be noted that Priyamani’s relative Vidya Balan was the first choice. However, she had to get down from ‘The Bullet Train’ as she could not adjust her dates.

Meanwhile, Priyamani has expressed her wish to share the screen space with Bollywood biggie Salman Khan, in a sequel to ‘Wanted’. Reacting to reports that she will be part of ‘Wanted-II’, the dusky beauty said, ‘No one connected with Wanted-II has approached me so far. But I may not deny an offer to act with Sallu bhai.’

Remember the actress is now doing ‘Raktha Charithra’, a trilingual directed by Ram Gopal Varma. On her last release ‘Raavanan’, directed by Mani Ratnam, she said, “It is not an ordinary thing to act in a Mani sir’s film. He is such a genius who knows even the minute details of filmmaking. I am privileged.”
