Filmdom has always been fascinated by beauty queens. Moment a sweet-something wins a beauty pageant, producers make a beeline to her place. We saw it with Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta and all. Now it is the turn of Celina Jetley. After a none-too-impressive show in Bollywood, Celina is coming to Telugu through Suryam opposite Vishnu Vardham Babu.
Produced by veteran actor Mohan Babu (Vishnus father), the film is expected to a youth subject. Ere go, Celina will have plenty of opportunity to showcase, er, herself. She will also have to share frames with another actress Veda.
Celina, who is a former Miss India, will be hoping that at least in Tollywood that she gets to do the roles she wants. In others words, she is looking for some shine from Suryam.
