There is something that draws Ravi Teja to remakes like a housefly is pulled towards an oilpaper.

But quite unlike oilpaper, remakes have provided the much-needed sustenance to Ravi Teja.

The new film he has been signed up for is the remake of the Tamil hit Azhagiye Theeye. Produced by Prakash Raj, the film won rave appreciation in Tamil. This endearing romantic comedy is a simple tale told in a simple style.

Quickly, Dhil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations secured the Telugu remake rights to the film.

Raju, it may be recalled, is the top distributor in Nizam and produced big hits like Dhil and Arya. After introducing Sukumar in Arya, Raju is pitching for another newcomer Boyapati Srinu as the director.

Teja is convinced that he has a hit in his hand. He says he identifies with the character completely.

Now the audiences have to with him.
