If it had been with other people, the film would have been almost dropped. But since it involves Chiranjeevi, it is different.

As we had reported earlier in these columns, the muhurat of his new film Jai Chiranjeeva was called off at the last moment owing to the tragic killing of Paritala Ravi.

Many would have thought that the killing of a man close to Aswini Dutt (the producer of the film) and the subsequent cancellation of the film to be inauspicious.

But Chiranjeevi is at a level untouched by such mundane superstitions.

Just as well. For the film lot of big names apart from him. K Vijaya Bhaskar will direct this venture. Trivikram will provide the story and dialogue.

The news is that the film will go on to the floors on February 17th.

Meanwhile, Chiru, who normally concentrates only on one movie at a time, seems to have made a difference now.

He is now busy with his film with Seenu Vytla. The report on that film is that it is set for May release --- month considered very lucky to Chiru as his big hits like Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari, Gang Leader and Gharana Mogudu hit the screens in May.

Allu Arvind is producing this film. Tabu, Rimmi Sen and Rakshita are the lady interests in the film.

Chiranjeevi is playing a father and son in the film.

But doing two films simultaneously, he is already set to do a different double role.
