Predicting theme changes in Tollywood is fraught with difficulties and is almost as unsafe as predicting weather patterns in the various parts of the country.

But just as it is cinch to say that some part of the country is always hot, it is equally easy to point out that love theme is always in season in Tollywood.

This March and April, it is going to be a summer of love.

Soggadu, Chakram, Avunanna Kadhanna, Bunny…all films of romantic genre will be important attractions this summer. All the four are youthful love stories that are aimed at Generation Next.

Among the three, Soggadu, with avowedly real-life love pair of Aarti Agarwal and Tarun, has an extra allure. And since both are hinging their personal life decision on the fate of the film at the box office, things really look interesting.

Tejas’s Avunanna Kadhanna is also interesting for the kind of riposte that the director can come up to answer his critics.

Krishna Vamsi’s Chakram, though not a full-fledged M & B story has many shades to it. With a youthful team (of Prabhas, Asin and Charmi) at the helm, the expectations are heavy.

Ditto for Allu Arjun’s bunny. The man, who swept the teenybopper crowd off their feet, needs a big hit to consolidate his place.

So all of them seem to have decided the best way to the heart of the public is through their hearts themselves.
