Chandu, who won critical acclaim by directing '10th Class', is again wielding the megaphone for a film 'Notebook' being produced by Vellampally Ramesh on the banner of 10th Class Productions.

Rajiv, son of music director Koti, is being introduced as hero, while Gayatri, who earned fame as a child artiste in 'Nagamma' tele serial as heroine, through this film.

The film had recently completed shooting. Presently re-recording is in progress under the direction of music director Mickey J Meyer.

Director Chandu says, 'The story of our film is a sensible point. During my student days, my friend got a love letter. Me and all my friends felt shocked at the letter. It is not just a letter but a note book. In that book, it was written that 'My expressions were noted in one page. Write your opinion on the other page and return it.'I took that point as an inspiration and prepared the subject.'

Mickey J Meyer, who made his debut as music director through '10th Class' is again holding the baton for music. The audio was already hit the stands and is getting a positive response.

The producer is planning to complete all the post-production formalities and release the film by the end of January.
