Manoj, son of versatile artiste Mohanbabu, who made his debut through 'Donga Dongadi' and proved himself as a young hero with zeal, is now playing in a film directed by Surya Kiron of 'Satyam'-fame. The film is being produced by Dr Mohanbabu and presented by Smt Nirmala on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

The shooting was formally launched a few days ago and is continuing at a fast pace. It is learnt that the film is the remake of a successful Tamil film 'Pesuthadi'.

The producer and director are on a look out for a girl with a fresh look. Their search ended with the selection of Sheela, who made her debut appearance in 'Sitakokachiluka'.

As per reliable industry sources, she had already started taking part in the shooting.
