If in Telugu, damsel Shraddha Das has a release in the form of Maro Charitra, in Hindi too, she has a good one, an international one at that: Lahore.
Directed by Sanjay Chauhan, the film has Shraddha playing one of the most important characters. She is sharing screen space with Aanahad and veteran actors like Nafisa Ali and Farooq Sheik.
She plays the character of Ida in the film. The actress plays a Pakistani girl and her role is meaty. So, we may say that Das has got her first worthy role to prove her innate talent. She plays a public relations officer for a kickboxing team, who overcomes a thousand blockades before she bags the job.
Lahore is slated for a release on the 19th of March. It has music by our very own MM Keeravani.
Hope Shraddha finally gets her due!
