Rather an unusual sight to see but it is the reality. For the first time in Hyderbad cinema exhibition history, a dubbed version along with its original has been released. We are talking about Mani Ratnam’s trilingual ‘Raavan’. Telugu version ‘Villain’ along with Tamil version ‘Raavanan’ and Hindi ‘Raavan’ were released simultaneously in Hyderbad.

It is first of its kind as none of the other movies of other bilinguals or trilinguals have been released. Mani Ratnam himself has made many bilinguals but hasn’t released all the versions at the same time. His ‘Yuva’ was also a bilingual that was dubbed in to Telugu but only the Hindi version was released and not the Tamil.

Realising that the Telugu audience appreciate even Tamil cinema and the Tamil population in Hyderbad, the distributors - Relaince Big Pictures have released all the three languages of the movie.

‘Villain’ has seen the biggest of openings in recent times.
