‘Magadheera’ touches 1 year

SS Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ completed one year of running in Andhra Pradesh. The movie released on July 31st 2009.

The movie about rebirth, about battles and true love, ‘Magadheera’ stole the hearts of the audiences. Ram Charan Teja’s character, a warrior who could kill at least a 100 people single handedly was amazingly sketched by director Rajamouli. Not just that, the grand sets, the spectacular special effects and terrific horse riding sequences, made the movie connect to the fans.

The movie is still showing at Kurnool’s Lakshmi Theatre, where the theatre authorities state that the movie has been seeing consistent collections till date. Producer Allu Arvind was extremely pleased with the 1 year showing of the movie while director Rajamouli said it was confidence boosting for him and his team.
