Saying that he is looking forward to Gabbar Singh and other assignments on hand, Devi Sri Prasad said that Damarukam is going to be a special one in his career. This being the first time that DSP is giving music to a socio-fantasy thriller, he is expected to give avant-garde tunes for the Nagarjuna-starrer.

Be that as it may, why does Devi Sri Prasad like the voices of Bollywood crooners Adnan Sami and Baba Sehgal? Look no further for reasons. He says that they sing like original Telugu singers, which is why he likes to enlist them time and again. Following the special response to Sami's Nenante Naku number in Oosaravelli, it was on every body's mind why DSP gives Bollywoodians the opportunity to render songs in his albums.

He says that he takes special care to ensure that the non-Telugu singers get their pronunciation right, by letting them practice the song diligently.
