'Mahankali, a true cop story'

Actor Raj Shekhar is of the view that Mahankali is a true cop story. He said that the film will make people cherish the police job and it will propel them to join the police force. High on action, the film is about how the hero puts an end to terrorism.

The soon-to-be-released film had to be stalled for two months thanks to the injury which the hero had while shooting for it.

Insinuating that Mahankali is going to be another Ankusham in his career, the actor exuded confidence in the script. The film will be released in Tamil as a sequel to a 1989 film on which Ankusham was based. There it is being publicised as a sequel to that super hit movie.
