Kochadaiyan, the VFX extravaganza is a mixture of Live action and Animation visuals has used the most modern Motion Capture technology that was employed in epics like 'Avatar' and 'The Adventures Of Titan'. While the 3D model created for Rajini in the recently released teaser has garnered mixed response from the critics, fans would be waiting for the real action to happen on screen when the 'Talaiva' will concur their minds, hearts and souls.

Directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya, the film is being jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment. VFX work is done by Hollywood studios. The film's audio is planned to be launched on the 12th December marking the Superstar's birthday.

The film has a dream ensemble of cast and crew. Names like Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Shobhana, Rukmini Vijay Kumar, Nassar etc in the casting and AR Rahman, Rajiv Menon, Anthony etc in the crew. The story is given by ace director KS Ravi Kumar.
