10,064 new coronavirus cases and other details

The Union Ministry of Health on Tuesday said that the country recorded about 10,064 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest 24-hour number in 7 months, the officials said.

Here are the cumulative numbers:

Confirmed cases: 1,05,81,837
Recovered: 1,02,28,753 (96.66%)
Active cases: 2,00,528 (1.90%)
Deaths: 1,52,556 (1.44%)

The ICMR revealed that 18,78,02,827 samples were tested as of January 18. This includes 7,09,791 samples tested on January 18.

Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Haryana, in that order, have the highest number of cumulative cases in the country.
