17 new corona cases in AP in just 12 hours!

17 new corona cases in AP in just 12 hours!

Andhra Pradesh has reported 17 new COVID-19 positive cases since Monday 9pm. In just 12 hours, these many cases have been detected in the State. The total number of cases in AP has reached 40.

Eight of them had attended the Nizamuddin mosque religious meeting in Delhi between March 13-15. Five of them are close contacts of those who attended the gathering.

"A total of 164 samples have been tested since last night. 147 of them are negative," an official health bulletin says.

Prakasam district has reported 11 cases, while Guntur has got 9 cases. Vizag and Krishna have got 6 and 5 cases, respectively.
