2 New 1 Old This Week

There are two releases for this week and one re-release. A film with unique name ‘Chitramandiradalli’ (that means inside the theatre), ‘Dhanu’ a rowdy life subject and a remake in Kannada ‘Case No.18/9’ are hitting the silver screen on last week of October 2013.

Venkatachala is the newbie to direction. He has done shooting for the film inside a theatre and also outside. The film of 130 minutes is given U certificate by the regional censor board. This is an experimental film. The life in Bangalore and life in theatre is the concept of this director. Shanker and Namitha (Silli Lalli TV serial actress) are in lead roles. Pravin D Rao has scored music. Mimicry Gopi is there to titillate funny bones. Vinod Bharathi is cameraman.

‘Dhanu’ is all about rowdy life. The audiences are fed up of seeing life of rowdies on silver screen. This one starring Santosh in the hands of director Devu K is the birth and death of rowdy in the society. There are five songs in the film with female counterpart Kushi. Hemanth Kumar is music composer. Producers Paramashivaiah and Muniraju are friends in business are jointly investing on this film. They have given the profession of printing press they own to the hero in the film. Bullet Prakash, Killer Venkatesh, Suresh Mangalore, Muni and others are in the cast.
