'2.0' shatters all-time record at Chennai Box Office

Shankar's '2.0' produced by Lyca Productions with a massive 563 crores as expected has taken a huge opening worldwide in spite of the release date November 29th being a working day. The movie powered by stellar performances from Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar has shattered all previous records at the Chennai Box Office collecting 2.64 Crores.
The previous best opening day collection at the CBO was earlier this month when Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' made 2.37 Crores. The other films making the top 5 are 'Kaala' (1.76 Crores) 'Mersal' (1.52 Crores) and 'Vivegam' (1.21 Crores). With heavy advance booking going on for the weekend and even into next week '2.0' is sure to break many more records in the coming days.
