3 Terrorists and Soldier Die in Encounter at Pulwama

During a search-and-cordon operation in the village of Dalipora by the Troops of the Central Reserve Police Force, Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group, terrorists began to fire leading to an encounter. Three terrorists and one soldier were killed in the gunfight in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. A huge quantity of arms have been recovered from the spot and a search operation is ongoing.

The terrorists believed to be members of Jaish-e-Mohammed had taken cover in a house. Two other soldiers and a citizen were injured and a body of a civilian was also found. Internet services in Pulwama have been suspended as a precaution.
