Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving no stone unturned to make the 3rd International Yoga Day celebrations bigger and better this year. The PM has asked chief ministers of NDA-ruled states to participate in the events. PM Modi will demonstrate his yoga skills in Lucknow with Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and others.

About 92,000 prison inmates will join in the celebrations from their respective jails in Uttar Pradesh, the idea being that the prisoners “will remain medically fit” and feel positive, according to Uttar Pradesh minister of state for jails Jai Kumar Singh Jaiki.

The Yoga fever has also spread to China, with thousand performed asanas` ahead of the celebrations scheduled for Wednesday. Yoga has become very popular in China to the extent that the country backed India in the UN to declare June 21 as International Yoga Day.
