Only one out of five releases in the last two weeks of November has clicked. That is S Narayan expensive film ÂVeera ParampareÂ. In 85 theatres in the 3rd week ÂVeera Parampare is sure to run 50 to 100 days in at least 25 theatres while ÂJackie is expected to hit century in 75 years in Karnataka according to the sources available.
Four releases of last two weeks in Kannada have been washed away from the box office. As ÂJackie of the super power star Puneeth Rajakumar is going supreme and has crossed 25 days and made a gross of Rs.30 crores.
The films ÂGana BajanaÂ, ÂGundragovi and ÂYaksha have faced utter defeat and all of them are being removed from the main theatres in the third week causing another major drawback to Kannada cinema industry.
ÂKichcha Huchcha is vacating from ÂSagar to ÂHuduga Hudugi after four weeks and ÂYaksha is vacating from Narthaki to accommodate ÂEno Onthara after two weeks.
Meanwhile ÂBindhaas Hudugi is not able to collect well in Triveni theatre. In the listing ÂChiru starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Kriti Karbanda has been announced for 19th November.
The two films released last week, ÂBindhaas Hudugi and ÂShock are very poor in collection according to Gandhinagar sources.
