The Tamil Nadu health minister C. Vijayabhaskar has updated that 50 new coronavirus patients have tested positive marking a huge jump in the numbers which now has shot up to a total of 124 out of whom 4 have been discharged. This is in addition to the seven persons who tested positive early this morning.
The shocking thing is that 45 of the 50 patients got infected from one place which is Nizammuddin in New Delhi where 1500 people from TN attended the Tablighi Jamaat religious meeting in Delhi. Of the 1130 people who came back, 515 people have been identified by the govt as of now. It is said that the numbers could go up much further whe the rest of the members who went to Delhi are traced out.
