50-year-old Chennai-born American actress and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi took to Instagram to post a picture of herself clad in a black lingerie and the model looked breathtakingly gorgeous. Her fans, amazed by her fitness at 50, appropriately reacted to the post.

Padma Lakshmi had captioned her post, "Feeling like myself in my body again. Also... @tweet_ is the most underrated artist of the 21st century." In the Instagram reel, Padma Lakshmi is seen leaning back on the dark countertop of her vanity and posing in front of the mirror, flaunting her abs. While most comments were compliments from her fans, Padma Lakshmi also received a few remarks shaming her for the post. "But why the need to fish for compliments in your underwear? In a day and age where women are objectified and you're trying to promote worth and value, this removes it down to the lowest common denominator of sexual attraction. It diminishes your strength as an accomplished chef, activist and author," one of her followers wrote.

Padma Lakshmi has constantly been criticized by trolls on her Instagram page, most of whom bodyshame her quite often. Last year, when she was trolled for her choice of clothing in one of her cooking videos, the Top Chef host gave a fitting reply. "I got some comments last time that it was immoral for me to not wear a bra in my own kitchen during the quarantine. So those people should be happy to note that I'm wearing two today. But seriously, let's not police women's bodies in 2020 ok," her witty response read.
