60th National Awards Presented

At Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi the President of India Pranab Mukerjee presented the 60th National awards in a glittering function on Friday evening.

From Kannada – P Seshadri director of best regional cinema ‘Bharat Stores’, producer of the film Basanth Kumar Patil and HG Dattatreya who gets special mention for the same film received the honors.

It is the seventh in the series for director P Seshadri in bagging national awards. He is a pinch hitter like his senior Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli.

Basanth Kumar Patil producer of the film ‘Bharat Stores’ was extremely happy in receiving the honors for his film.
