Today marks the seventh year anniversary of the release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Velayudham' directed by Mohan Raja and costarring Genelia D'Souza, Hansika Motwani, Santhanam and Soori with a host of other character artistes.  The film had super hit songs by Vijay Antony and a fast-paced commercial screenplay that entertained the audiences.

Mohan Raja has stated "Yes, it's 7 years of winning the love of Thalapathy fans. No words to thank the humongous love u people have on me since then... Once again a big thanks to Thalapathy Vijay Nanba to make this happen."

A few months back Mohan Raja met Thalapathy Vijay and posted a photograph on social media which caused speculations that the duo would be reteaming for 'Thalapathy 63'.  However, it has been confirmed that Atlee would be doing that project but industry insiders believe that a future Vijay-Mohan Raja film is definitely on the horizon.
