75-year-old elderly woman with memory loss raped in kerala

A 75-year-old woman who suffers from memory loss was brutally raped and injured in Kerala. The incident happened on Sunday evening at a village named Kolenchery in Ernakulam district.
According to the medical report, the elderly lady was injured severely on her private parts using sharp objects. Emergency surgery was done and the Police began investigating the case. As the woman's mental health is not stable, the Police couldn't successfully take the statements from her. Thus making it difficult to trace the culprit.
However, based on the statement the lady gave to the Police, a few migrant workers staying close to her house were interrogated. Meanwhile, the Women's Commission had registered suo-motto case into the incident.
