'83' and 'Sooryavanshi' will release in first quarter of 2021.

Although a lot of movies are going straight to OTT platforms due to pandemic but the fans still have to wait a lot for '83' and 'Sooryavanshi'. The markers have decided not to release the movies on streaming sites and opted for theatrical release instead.

According to trade analyst Taran Aadarsh, both the movies will release in first quarter of 2021 i.e., before 31st of March. 'Sooryavanshi' stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and it is the third installment in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. On the other hand '83' is a tale of India's struggle to become cricket world champions in 1983.

The decision to not go for OTT release is strengthened by the debacle of 'Laxmii'.
