'Uriyadi' is a political crime thriller set in the 1990s. The film predominantly starring newcomers has been written and directed by debutant Vijayakumar.
Vijaykumar has also played an important role apart from scoring the musical score. Mime Gopi has played an important supporting role.
The trailers have also created a good positive buzz for the film.
'Uriyadi' has been produced by Vijayakumar under his Souvenir Pictures banner along with director Nalan Kumarasamy's Pinrom Pictures banner. The film is all set to hit the screens on May 27, 2016.
