'A+' thriller, it was A in 1998

It was super hit film in the direction and acting for the first time as hero for Upendra in ‘A’ Kannada film. It is after 19 years A title is kept with addition of + mathematical symbol. Like how Upendra created sensation even from posters (thanks to Bhushan Geechi) this new team of Vijay Soorya has done it with a snake, pen, Oosaravalli, helter-skelter drawing etc with the title ‘A+’.

Handsome hunk Anil Siddhu is playing lead with popular TV actress (Sathi is Hara Hara Mahadeva) Sangeetha. The film went on the floor on Monday. Upendra, S Narayan, Soundarya Jagadish and others attended muhuruth. It is Upendra after hearing to the script made one correction for his assistant director in ‘Uppi 2’ Vijay Soorya.

On the title that is similar to students at the middle school level gradation, he said one of the incidents in the film gives justification to the title. There is no song in this film; Bhupinder Singh is cameraman of this film.  Bhupinder has studied cinematography in Australian University branch in Bengaluru and recently ‘Annadhaata’ short film, he was cameraman.  VS has stint as assistant director from the days of ‘Orata I Love You’. His last was ‘Uppi 2’ as assistant director.

Siddhu alias Anil Siddu villain in Silicon City and acted in Manirathnam film recently is the lead actor. Director had selected him after going through his interview in popular monthly film magazine ‘Cine Josh’ of SV Publications. It has love story with thrilling style in screenplay.

Sangeetha who played Sathi in Harahara Mahadeva and in Super Jodi with Karthik is making debut in cinema. This is not a routine cinema she assures. Prabhu Kumar a builder by profession has made a leap in to two films at a time. ‘Pritsoru’ on floor is by Manjunath alias Viraat hero cum director of the film. After hearing to the story in one meeting he agreed to produce the film. Lakshmi Hegde, Prashanth Siddhi, Ravi Marur and others are in the cast.
