After Amit Shah's statement that was meant to impose Hindi all over India, there have been huge opposition all over the nation, and now actor and politician, leader of Makkal Needhi Maiam party Kamal Haasan has released his views against Amit Shah's statement in a video.

Kamal Haasan says "India was born out of the sacrifices of many kingdoms by kings, but one thing that people of different places refused to sacrifice was their language and culture. When Indian became a republic in 1950, government promised people regarding it, and now no Shah or Sultan or Samrat must try to break the promise all of a sudden".

"Jallikattu was a small protest, and was a smaller win, and if decide to fight for our language it will be huge, and will be dangerous which is unnecessary for India. Except Bengalis, Indians don't sing national anthem in their regional languages, yet they sing happily because its poet had respected other languages in it. Being an Indian is a great thing and lets share the feeling and see unity in diversity, let's not force anything on people" said Kamal, ending the video with slogans praising Tamil and people of Tamil Nadu.
