The ‘Kolaveri’ famed Dhanush took the colourful occasion of Holi to unfold the first look of his forthcoming film ‘Raanjhnaa’.

Highlighting the colours’ festival, the first look of ‘Ranjhanaa’ shows Dhanush and co-star Sonam Kapoor caught in the spirit of Holi. Both looking colourful, the backdrop hints the location that the story is set in, which is, Banaras. Posting this pic on his micro-blogging site on Wednesday, Dhanush commented, The official first look of Raanjhanaa. A beautiful journey. I took against all odds. Happy Holi.

A very popular star down south, Dhanush took enough pain to learn Hindi and get into the character of a typical Benarasi guy.

Produced by Eros International and directed by Aanand L Rai, ‘Ranjhanaa’ also stars Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and Mohammed Zeeshan. Well-acclaimed music maestro A.R. Rahman has handled the music.

‘Ranjhanaa’ hits the screens on June 28.
