Though Sathyaraj is the busiest hero these days, who has acted in several roles and parodied the high and mighty, the actor has been developing in him a passion to play social reformer E V R Periyar's role in a movie.
It looks like his dream would be realized very soon. Known for his atheist ideas, Sathyaraj has accepted to play Periyar in a movie to be directed by a debutant Arivuraj.
Arivuraj has penned the story and screenplay besides directing the movie. As Sathyaraj has several films on the floors right now, the shooting for the new film will commence only next year.
