Its been a long journey in the entertainment industry for Maddy who started out as a chocolate boy hero in Mani Ratnam's 'Alaipaayuthey' and over the years evolved into an amazing star actor as evidenced in his last few releases including 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Vikram Vedha'.

Madhavan, this year has made his debut as director for the Rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan biopic titled 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect'. He has been in Russia shooting crucial portions and has given the update "It’s a SCHEDULE WRAP...Finished the Russia shoot .. 5 days ahead of time ... at -10 Deg C. Thank you my super awesome Unit..".

'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect' has Simran and Rajeev Ravindranathan in the cast and is fast progressing for a release by this year end.
