A 'Karmayogi' on Hamlet

'Karmayogi' is the name of the new film from V K Prakash, which is a desi version of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'.
Indrajith will play the lead role in this movie as the title character, with able support from Thalaivasal Vijay, Aniruddh, Ashokan, Manikuttan, Vinay, Nithyamenon, Kani, Padmini Kolhapure and Babu Namboodiri. Balram Mattannur scripts the movie placing the story as if it has happened almost a hundred years ago in Kerala.
Interestingly, Balram had been the scriptwriter of the immensely successful Malayalam version of Othello, when it was made by Jayaraj in the title 'Kaliyattam'.
ÂKarmayogi' will have music by Ouseppachan while RD Rajasekhar will handle the camera and Been Paul, the editing department. Produced by Trends ad films and Bangalore Innerstorm group, 'Karmayogi' will be presented by Creative Asia.
