A morale booster

The makers of Mogudu Pellam O Dongodu, now well known in the industry by the acronym MPOD,must be happy and hopeful.
The film is an experimental one. Directed by Venky, the film has just three characters in it. Raja, Shriya and Brahmanandam play the three roles.
It is about a husband and wife and a thief who arrives on the scene on their first night.
The creative possibilities are wonderful and Venky's hopes to exploit that.
And his confidence has got a major boost with the Telugu audience in a mood to accept experimental ventures. They no longer are swayed by mindless trash coming their way under the guise of commercial entertainers.
Now MPOD is set for release on September 7.
Vakada Apparao is producing this film under Sri Ramalayam Vari banner. Kabuli,a man who has worked with A R Rehman, has scored the music. The audio is doing well in the market.
