A.R. Murugadoss right from his debut movie 'Dheena' starring Ajith Kumar in 2001 has been delivering huge hits that include Vijayakanth's 'Ramana', Chiranjeevi's 'Stalin', Suriya's 'Ghajini' and ' 7 aam Arivu', Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' and three back to back films with Vijay 'Thuppakki', 'Kaththi' and 'Sarkar'. His most recent film 'Darbar' starring Superstar Rajinikanth did not fare as expected at the box office and was critically panned.

ARM was initially signed to direct Vijay's 'Thalapathy 65' produced by Sun Pictures but he walked out due to creative differences. Nelson Dilipkumar replaced him and the film 'Beast' is releasing on April 13th this year. There were reports that the highly rated filmmaker is working on an international level animation project which is said to be in the advanced stages of pre-production.

Meanwhile sources close to the Murugadoss camp have let out that he has completed two out and out commercial screenplays and is gearing up to make them back to back within a span of two years. It is said that one of the films will have Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role and the other one will have Vijay Sethupathi as the hero.

Chiyaan Vikram is currently awaiting the release of three of his films GVM's 'Dhruva Natchathiram', Ajay Gnanamuthu's 'Cobra' and Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' which is slated for release on September 30th. His 61st film will be directed by Pa. Ranjith and will go on floors soon and he is said to have committed to a film produced by Kamal Haasan and one directed by 'Kaaka Muttai' Manikandan. Co-incidentally both these films are said to also have Vijay Sethupathi on board as the parallel lead.

Vijay Sethupathi on the other hand as always is super busy with a number of projects not only in Tamil but in other languages too. His partial lineup includes 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal', 'Vikram', 'Merry Christmas', 'Viduthalai' and 'Mumbaikkar'.

The sources add that A.R. Murugadoss, based on the availability of the dates of Vikam and Vijay Sethupathi, will decide which of the two films will go on floors first. Anyways his fans can expect official updates of all his projects very soon.
