It's a dream for every director to work with Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman. And in the close, to three decades of his career he has created magic for many celebrated filmmakers including K. Balachander, Bharathiraja, Mani Ratnam and others.

Parthiban one of the acclaimed directors of the era also started production on a film titled 'Yelelo' in the year 2001 with music by A.R. Rahman and four songs were even recorded. But due to unforeseen circumstances, the film was shelved. The actor-director has since tried many times to collaborate with Rahman but it did not materialize.

Now after twenty years A.R. Rahman is said to have signed on to score the music for Parthiban's ambitious single shot movie 'Iravin Nizhal' which is expected to go on floors soon. Extensive set work is going on for the film and it is said that a top-notch star cast is present in the movie which will be announced soon. K. Vijayamurugan is taking care of art direction while Arthur A Wilson is handling the camera with Parthiban himself producing with the highest budget in his career.

Parthiban's last few films behind the camera that includes 'Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam' and 'Otha Seruppu' have been experimental in screenwriting and execution and have been much appreciated. 'Iravin Nizhal' too will be in the award-winning category but at the same time entertaining to the general audience according to sources close to the team.
