Grandsons of legendary comedians N S Krishnan and Surulirajan are making their foray into big screen with Nagarika Komali.

Suruli's grandson Jai Shakthi plays the hero and NSK's grandson NSK Rajan plays second fiddle to him. Popular Kannada actress Neetha Shree makes her debut in Tamil as heroine.

Debutant Ramji S Balan has penned the story, dialogues and scored the music too besides writing the script.

According to Rajan, 'though people say that I look my grandfather, I want to develop a style of my own and establish an identity for myself'

Jai Shakthi says, 'people would expect a lot from me as my grandfather had won a place for himself in the industry.'

Shooting is on for Nagarika Komali, which would be released this May.
