Actor Aadhi has expressed his preference for playing a villain rather than a hero.

The film ‘Sabdham’, directed by Arivazhagan, features Aadhi, Lakshmi Menon, Laila, Simran, and M.S. Bhaskar. Produced by 7G Films, the movie is a horror thriller centered around sound. The director has requested audiences to watch the film in theaters with good sound systems.

Speaking to journalists, Aadhi shared, “My second film was with Arivazhagan in ‘Eeram’. His ideas were unique back then, and we now have a great understanding while working together. His direction and attention to detail make everything visually appealing. After ‘Eeram’, we became close friends.”

He also revealed experiencing supernatural moments during the filming and mentioned that researching his role made him believe in paranormal activities to some extent.

Aadhi clarified that he does not differentiate between Tamil and Telugu films and has multiple Tamil projects, including ‘Sabdham’ and ‘Maragadha Naanayam 2’, set to release soon. The latter will begin shooting next month with the same team.

He is also starring alongside Balakrishna in ‘Akhanda 2’. According to Aadhi, Balakrishna praised the trailer of ‘Sabdham’ after watching it.

Regarding his acting choices, Aadhi stated, “I prefer playing a villain rather than a hero because villain roles have fewer limitations and are more interesting. I would love to play a villain for stars like Ajith and Vijay, but the script must decide.”

He believes making sequels is acceptable if they have a strong storyline, as a weak sequel can diminish the impact of the original film.
