While Akshay Kumar's 'Pad Man' will release on Feb 9, its makers are busy promoting the cause of menstrual hygiene even outside the film. And mega-celebs are playing ball.

"Yes, that`s a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about. It's natural! Period. #PadManChallenge. Copy, Paste this & Challenge your friends to take a photo with a Pad. Here I am Challenging Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan," says Aamir Khan.

Directed by R Balki, the Bollywood film is a comedy-drama based on the life of the Tamil social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who "revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine."
