Finally the Big Boss Tamil reality show that brought Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan to the small screen has come to an end with the grand finale being telecast on Saturday night. The top four contestant who managed to stay in the Big Boss house  till the last day were Snehan, Ganesh Venkat Raman, Aarav and Harish. Out of the four Harish had a lateral entry while the other three have managed to remain at the house for the entire 100 days in the show that started on June 25, 2017.  

All the eliminated contestants and also the people's hearthrob Oviya took part in the finale event and it was filled with a lot of fun and frolic. Oviya was obviously the show stealer as the audience gave her a Superstar's welcome.

Contrary to the expectation of the followers of the show. Aarav was voted as the title winner of Big Boss season one. It was widely felt that either Snehan or Ganesh Venkatraman will be the title winner,

It is to be noted that Oviya fell in love with Aarav  and exited the show voluntarily as the he did not reciprocate her feelings.
