Director Aashiq Abu, who is currently quite happy with the success of his recent films, will be soon seen in a new avatar. He will appear as an on screen character for the new movie titled 'Annayum Rasoolum'. Senior cinematographer Rajeev Ravi will be the person who will be calling the shots for Abu in this movie. It is also reported that ace director Renjith will also appear as a character in the movie, which will have Fahad Fazil and Namitha Pramod donning the lead. The movie will be produced by Vinod Vijayan and Seven Arts Mohan under the banner of D Cuts Entertainment.

Aashiq Abu will start the work of his new movie 'Da Thadiya', immediately after the completion of his role in the movie.
