Both these films catered to niche audiences and told the border line stories about corruption, ecology and anarchism. Now with his third film `Aayudham', Nishad is trying a different genre, an action based political film. A politician turned filmmaker he is, everyone expects much untold political stories to be unveiled on screen, when Nishad attempts such a political movie.

None in the circle and his village could believe Anwar as a real culprit as he is from a known family who never associates with this kind of activities. But Rishikesh has something else in his mind. By arresting Anwar, he was aiming the big guns who were playing shadow fights, with the help of power. The other thing of interest is that, it was during the shooting of `Aayudham', Suresh Gopi came to attend a police function in the uniform. This act which made the headlines of every newspapers,   prompted an advocate to file a case against the actor in the court for `illegal' use of the official police uniform. The actor then had to plead that it all happened as he got little time to change the dress. Since the function happened to be near the sets, he had to rush to the stage without thinking of any other option.. The actor was also instrumental in arguing that he meant no "insult" to  the uniform, which gave him the maximum hits .It is also a known fact that, the actor's  stubborn characters in the uniform  often introspects  every  police  men  in service  about their own behavior at critical situations.
