'Abhimanyudu' hit: Vishal takes a decision for farmers

With 'Abhimanyudu' grossing more than Rs. 12 crores in its first week, actor-producer Vishal has decided to use a part of the collections towards farmers' welfare.
It's learned that the politically-outspoken actor has decided to donate Re. 1 from every ticket sold in the Telugu States. This will be used for the welfare of beleaguered farmers. The large donations will be channeled properly through avenues as Vishal deems fit.
Directed by PS Mithran, the thriller had hit the screens on June 1. Its Tamil version 'Irumbu Thirai' turned out to be the biggest hit in Vishal's career. Starring Arjun Sarja and Samantha in key roles, the film has got a fitting response from the audience.
