Buoyed by the success of 'Abhimanyudu' (which collected Rs. 12 crores gross in the Telugu States in its first week), Vishal on Monday expressed his happiness and promised that its sequel will start soon.

Vishal Film Factory and Hari Venkateswara Pictures banners had released the thriller on June 1. Producer Gujjalapudi Hari organized a celebration amidst Vishal's fans in Vizag's CMR's mall. Director PS Mithran too attended the success event.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishal said, "First of all, I thank the audience for making 'Abhimanyudu' a blockbuster. The Telugu audience supported me right from the beginning of my career. This success gave me more energy and added more responsibility. We will start 'Abhimanyudu - 2' with the same team very soon."

The actor said that 'Pandem Kodi-2' will hit the screens for Dasara.
