It is a shower of good wishes for young lad Abhishek Kasargod son of veteran journalist Ganesh Kasargod. Abhi debut film as cameraman with wide knowledge and six years stint as assistant, short film maker is finally getting him the name plate as independent cameraman from 21st of July via Operation Alamelamma`.

Recalling his journey from passing out in II PUC Abhishekh stated that his cinematography from Government Film and Television Institute for three years and encouragement he received from his father Ganesh Kasargod and mother Smt Gayathri was first source of inspiration.

He worked with ace cameramen like Sathya Hegde, S Krishna, Manohar Joshi, Ashok Kashyap. This in fact made me to arrive at the good knowledge. The style of working without lights, helicams, top light etc I started learning one by one. In Kinaara` the lighting pattern is very different from others. In Operation Alamelamma the song shot in 5D Alfa is also unique he recalls.

Abhishekh has done quite a short film in the beginning. Kukka` got him entry in the Goa International film festival, later Sev Puri, Last Kannadiga, Refill and others followed. It is from Refill two actors have worked in Kirik Party`.

I want to establish as a cameraman who does precise and compact work for the demand of a story. Technical knowhow is always there and we in Karnataka are on par with any other language technicians.

Abhishekh younger brother Alok is a Civil Engineer. He is already progressing in his career.
