'Abhiyum Anuvum' has its 'Arjun Reddy' self

The Tamil-Malayalam film 'Abhiyum Anuvum' reminds one of 'Arjun Reddy'. No, the film's story is not the same as that of 'AR'. They are in a similar space in that sense that they both are intense romantic dramas.
Yes, there are lip-locks. The lead pair (Tovino Thomas and Pia Bajpai) are seen making love at least once in the teaser and in two of the posters of the movie. This reminds one of the situational Vijay Devarakonda-Shalini Pandey kisses.
As per the makers, there is just one kissing scene. In 'AR', however, there were as many as 19.
Much like 'AR', the makers are describing 'AA' as a bold film. Of course, Sandeep Vanga had gone a step ahead and called his film a "cult romance". Pia will be seen with a tonsured head in some of the portions. Directed by BR Vijayalakshmi, the film also stars Prabhu, Suhasini, Rohini and Manobala.
