'Acharya' postponed, new date announced after 'RRR'

'Acharya' has got a new release date. Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production House have finalized April 29.
The theatrical release of the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan film has been postponed from April 1 to April 29 in view of 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' picking March 25.
After a healthy discussion and on mutual understanding, we would be releasing 'Acharya' on April 29, as 'RRR' would be hitting the screens on March 25, the producers today said.
The film stars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the lead. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are its heroines. The Koratala Siva directorial has been repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic. With music by Mani Sharma, the film has cinematography by Tirru.
'Acharya' has completed its post-production works.
